Unload a kernel module before halt

Hello! I made a kernel module to command a circuit I made, which is working fine. When I do a modprobe, it inits my hardware and interact with it. When do a rmmod, it deinitialize the hardware, just fine. I added it to /etc/modules, and when the system starts, it loads the module, just fine. What I ...

Re: Showing YUV frames on the center of the screen

Dude, you're absolutely awesome, I simply don't know how to thank you! The changes you made worked great. I than changed the line where the disp_rect is created with vc_dispmanx_rect_set( &disp_rect, 0, 0, 480, 720 ); and the image is automagically resized and appears fullscreen, exactly what I need...

Showing YUV frames on the center of the screen

Hi! I'm trying to show some YUV420 frames on the Rpi screen using dispmanx. I'm using the composite out, with display_rotate=1 on config.txt, so, my screen resolution is 480x720, which is fine. I have frames with 480x640, and after a HUGE help from 6by9, I'm able to show the frames on the screen, si...

Re: Best way to show a YUV frame on dispmanx

I read this page: http://www.jvcref.com/files/PI/documentation/html/, the informatin there made sense to me, but it look like a bit fuzzy. I'm not experienced enough to read just the API do...

Analog audio out via PWM on CM3

Hi I'm trying to get audio out on the Computer Module 3 via PWM (the same way the Raspberry Pi has), but I see no activity on GPIOs 40 and 45. I'm trying to play a wav file with aplay, I set the option dtparam=audio=on on /boot/config.txt, I set the option to force the audio to output on the analog ...

Best way to show a YUV frame on dispmanx

Hi! I'm developing a device which will need to show YUV420 frames on the screen. I'm trying to use dispmanx to show the frame, so I don't need to make any type of conversion. In my project, I'm using the CVBS video output, and I set the screen to rotate, by setting display_rotate=1 on /boot/config.t...
