Re: BAR space for PCIe allocation on CM4?

modetest output on x86_64 And can you just run weston(weston has many switches) on that drm device? blacklist v3d and vc4 and kms No, I won't be doing any x86_64 tests on that card beyond using it as a comparison to where it's going wrong on the CM4. And seeing as vc4 and v3d would never get loaded...

Re: BAR space for PCIe allocation on CM4?

If PI IO board don't follow PCI-e spec to cover power supply, can you ask IO board engineers to fix it in next revision plz plz So some power hungry cards will be happy :) Why do you think it doesn't comply with the spec? Check the schematics. The CMIO can supply 3.3A @ 3.3V when the spec says max ...

Re: BAR space for PCIe allocation on CM4?

Are there any plans to release boards with fixed SOC(with new revision and fixed DMA 1GB) on raspberry pi? What do you think needs fixing? A kernel .dtb file update will expand the outbound window to 1GB, and with co-operation from the firmware it can be made larger still. You wrote that new revisi...

Re: Why the P4's refreshing rate under 4K is 20 something Hz?

I am running Pi4 with 2560x1440 monitor and I also have this problem
it looks like it is running in 30Hz and not with 60Hz

Big gfx card support on raspberry pi

I would like to know if it is possible to use big gfx card with raspberry pi with compute module 4 + IO board we are able to test lots of PCI-e cards with raspberry pi So where is the problem with big gfx cards like AMD or nvidia? both have open source drivers(kernel + mesa) PCI-e lanes shouldn't be...

Re: Moving Linux Kernel to 5.9

As Compute module 4 IO board has PCIE Are you finally able to connect and somehow setup big nvidia/AMD GFX cards ? Have you got ARM drivers for them? NVidia are notorious for only shipping closed source blobs for their drivers, and then only amd64 versions thereof. AMD are somewhat better in provid...
