Except that much more smoke escapes when you manage to create a short, and not to speak of what will happen when you switch the supply on, and for a short while the output goes over 6Volt (Hint: much more smoke). the PI should get no more than 5.1 Volt. https://www.raspberrypi.org/help/faqs/#power ...

Hello. I have configured my Pi model 3 B+ for USB booting. I configured an Intergal 128Gb Memory stick using the March 2018 Raspian download. After around 10 seconds it began to load, only problem it took 15 minutes to reach the home screen, Is my stick too slow or no use for the job? I then loaded ...

Does anyone know if the Pi can be configured for old TV standards like 405/25i or 240/25p ?? From either HDMI or preferably from composite.

Hi. If anyone intends building their own PSU I'd suggest a crowbar circuit post regulation triggering at 5.75 volts maximum. I have built my own linear supply that gives 5.1v @ 3 amps maximum current fully regulated and current limited, the crowbar though will blow a 4 amp fuse if the supply fails a...
