Re: How do you know if you need to add a cooling component for your Pi4?

this is how I know if I need a cooling equipment: Tm = the highest ambient temp recorded at room. Td = my desired SoC operating temp temp in deg C. if: Td < (Tm + 11), then I need heatsink and fan, or other novel ways to cool. if: [ Td > (Tm + 11) ] and [ Td < (Tm + 15) ], then just heatsink. if: Td...

I've also tried to search for such...

in the end I settled for LM3915 based VU meter, and/or
arduino nano + LED strip based VU meter.

if the OTP bit is not set it may be difficult

however you can post an image of the broken slot, some of us may share an ingenious way to set the OTP bit to enable USB boot.

I also have a HDMI to mini-HDMI cable, but couldn't find it in time for the "photo shoot"... also have similar HDMI to VGA adaptor, to the one you have as well as a HDMI to VGA direct cable (also confirmed to work) however I abandoned the use of those... as we all know VGA cables are quite thick and...

Thanks. I think when I opened the package box, the Pi was not wrapped by anything.
That is my experience with the 10 Pi4Bs I have...so far.
same here with my RPi4B's (2GB, 4GB, 8GB)...but mine didn't come from OKDO though.....

Re: Scanning for Viruses With Clamav Raspian Kills Scan Why?

just wondering......

are there ARM specific viruses?
specially ones that can compromise any RPi ecosystem?
is ClamAV able to differentiate between ARM and x86 viruses?

if ClamAV is designed to protect from x86 viruses, does one really need to install this on their RPi/ARM only system/network?

The RPi should be able to drive the those powered speakers, just remember to plug the USB to the RPi (or different power source)

I have similar ones, connected to my piTop RPi3B... sounds good to me.

Re: Is there a way to reset the status returned by vcgencmd get_throttled?

that list provided by Andyroo (ret.) about the bits....

can those be accessed by python?

lets say I make an LED indicator board showing if each bit has been triggered or not....
and make individual "reset" button to reset any re-settable bits, and clearing the specific LED(s).
