Re: Increase Pi USB Bluetooth RX power.

This might be an overly simple understanding but wouldn't recieve range be limited by the antenna design and the power of the remote transmitting device? I guess you might need to boost local tx power to mkae sure the remote device can see your outgoing transmissions. I increased the TX power. It s...

Re: Increase Pi USB Bluetooth RX power.

I was hoping. I saw there were commands to adjust TX power:
To set Max tx power:
sudo bccmd psset -s 0x0000 0x0017 -16
To set default tx power:
sudo bccmd psset -s 0x0000 0x002d -16

USB specs:

So I thought I'd ask.

Increase Pi USB Bluetooth RX power.

I am working on a robot project. I disabled the Pi3b+ onboard bluetooth in favor of a Trendnet TBW-106UB , class 1 USB dongle. It works great and connected to the PS3 controller to control the robot with no issues. I am curious, is there is a way to increase the RX, receive, power to add additional ...

I was guessing fps. That's what it was labeled in the ssh window. I dropped to around 25 pretty quick then slowly even lower.

Pi V2 Camera to web page for mobile.

Hello,
I have managed to stream video to a web page from my PI. But it's in Flash, so mobile phones can't see it.

Is there a way to stream MP4 video to a webpage from a Pi camera V2? Or any other format mobile devices can see?

Odd question. It depends on your OS I suppose.
Generally, the answer is yes, you can have multiple interfaces (WiFi or not), some static and some under DHCP.
I am using the standard current Raspian image.

Mixing DHCP and Static IP on Multiple Wifi adapters

I have a cluster of Pi's doing different functions in the same project. All communicating via wifi with static IP's. But, I will be traveling with them and wanted to add a USB Wifi dongle to one of them to provide internet access (DHCP) while traveling. Is it possible to have on board Wifi set to st...

A HAT is possibly a waste of money. Do you have one in mind? I suspect any HAT will be based on the PCA9685 which can easily be driven by the Pi.

Best Pi for servo usage.

I'm working on a custom Astromech with many servos (15-20). Would you recommend a Pi 3b or a Pi Zero W, either with a Servo hat?
