Re: Screenly OSE -- Digital Signage for the Raspberry Pi

There are no clear instructions on how to enable Screenly to not require an Internet connection. There is reference to an "offline" mode, but the page only mentions that it is possible and not how to properly configure the software. Furthermore a quick glance at the source seems to indicate that th...

You could adjust the browser efforts to display video so that OMXplayer always plays on a layer above it. Or, but not sure (and don't have OMXplayer handy) if you can specify the layer it appears on.
hmm I have not encountered similar settings in qt. okay, thank you! I'll be looking for it

Re: How can I create second FB interface /dev/fb1

A frame buffer is usually allocated to a display, so a second framebuffer means a second display. Which from your post I don;t think is the case, Also odd that OMXPlayer is playing underneath something, that does't write to the frame buffer, but is superimposed over the output. So I'm not sure exac...

How can I create second FB interface /dev/fb1

Hello, I want to create a second framebuffer interface to display a video and I don't know how. In short, there is a playlist of pictures, web pages and videos. Images and pages are displayed using a browser, and when you want to display a video, the browser displays a black page, and omxplayer on t...

Sometimes this gets fixed after a reboot, but the problem comes again. Also, getting this er...

Re: Screenly OSE -- Digital Signage for the Raspberry Pi

My problem is that I can't reach the displayed link. I tried it on my laptop and on my phone with different browsers. If the image writing was successful and a laptop is on the same network as Pi, then everything should be in fine. Is the problem still urgent? Let's figure it out if that problem is...
