How to set default volume

Hi, so whenever I reboot my pi the default volume is 100%, does anyone know how to set the default volume to something lower? I want to run the device headless connected to a speaker, so 100% is way to loud.

If anyone has any knowledge on how to fix this I would really appreciate it.

How to get Pi to use analogue speakers on boot?

The raspberry pi seems to automatically use HDMI on boot, I'm trying to get it to instead use analogue (Use the jack) but to no success. When I unplug the HDMI and run it headless it still doesn't automatically use the jack.

If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.

Re: Program Doesn't Completely work on boot up

After following Kll suggestion of putting the whole path for the .wav file, upon boot up it properly worked and also opened the terminal window showing the running program. I think the combination of the bash and the path file had sorted it.

Re: Program Doesn't Completely work on boot up

I thought i did it correctly, but upon boot up it still didn't play a proper noise. Although it is still making the clicking noises. This is the /home/pi/.config/lxsession/LXDE-pi/autostart file, was i meant to put the @bash file in there? @lxpanel --profile LXDE-pi @pcmanfm --desktop --profile LXDE...

Thank you so much for replying. When you say "call the file in autostart", what do you mean by this?

Program Doesn't Completely work on boot up

So for my recent project I had almost completely finished it, except for getting the program to open on boot up. The project has different noises played on different values from a sensor. The program itself used Pygame (I'll put the code below) and it accessed .wav files in its folder it was situate...

Re: Code to power down Pi

I added a button onto Pins 5 and 6 like you said and then proceeded to edit the config.text, except I can't seem to get it to work.
I'm confident its a problem on my part but I can't figure out where.

Running a Python script on startup

Hi, I recently bought a raspberry Pi and for my current project I want a python script to run on startup. I have looked online but anything I've tried I either don't understand or hasn't worked. At the moment I get no error message. It seems to run fine and there is no hint that it's gone wrong somewhere, except with no distances being printed and no sound being played.

Re: Code to power down Pi

I thought when you manually click shut down on the Pi it went into a low power mode? As the LEDS are still light up and it is still being powered; rather than completely cutting off power.

Re: Ultrasonic Theremin Problems

Rpdom is correct, the sensor is simply ultrasonic the ultrasonic part, the speaker itself will produce normal sounds.
