That is a bit of an understatement. In fact, much of the application is constructed in python, you talk to it in python, and it is extensible in python. If someone has a binary built for the R-Pi that would be AWESOME.

The OpenGL ES 2.0 implementation on the Pi doesn't support floating point textures . It doesn't really matter though, even with FP textures available, GLES 2.0 is still a lousy API for GPGPU applications. Thanks for the thread link. Do you have no gui? If you do, gparted is the easiest way. Otherwise, you will need to use something like cfdisk and then mkfs. Read the manuals for those tools before you use them!
