Re: Tiered donation release?

Yes. The actual lead time would affect the premium. :)

Two weeks, not a big deal. Two months, that would certainly be worth something.

Re: Tiered donation release?

<t>I think those are fair perspectives as well. It just depends on what your goals are.<br/> <br/> Obviously, paying a higher price for the same hardware isn\'t good value for your money. But I dont really care much about the device. What I really value is my time, and I want the board so that I can...

Re: Tiered donation release?

<t>I like the really idea of pairing the initial release with a donation. As someone serious about developing software for the device, I don\'t mind paying more to get access to the first batch rather than having to wait to get started.<br/> <br/> But given the demand and the limited availability, I...

From that perspective an integrated audio capability would be useful - maybe just a simple 3.5mm output (as opposed to needing to add a USB sound card).<br/> <br/...

Re: How would you use a Raspberry Pi device?

I'd like to port the "love" lua scriptable game engine to the Pi. I think that it's a great tool for teaching kids to program. Putting that together with an affordable and portable platform will be magic. :)

Re: What have we missed?

<t>What kind of SD cards will be supported? Will it be able to use SDXC? Essentially, will it take the 64GB cards or just the smaller ones?<br/> <br/> Also, that's a very small amount of ram, especially considering that there is no dedicated video memory. The cost difference between 128 and 256 seem...
