Re: Atom Editor - package/repo/binaries? [SOLVED - kinda]

Atom? Leightweight? ....ahem.... :D ...not really.... but it runs well enough on the 3 B. I somehow got used to it and prefer to use the same editor on my computers, so I am very happy to have it on the Pi now as well. A convenient .deb package is in the thread I linked above, and now that it...

Re: Atom Editor - package/repo/binaries? [SOLVED - kinda]

OK folks, looking good! After Hypersad forked Atom for ARM I tried everything but could not get the messy dependencies for the Atom build to work. Begged for binary/deb package, received both. Runs. The Atom team has so far refused to support ARM officially due to manpower issues. Their Snap package is also unavailable fo...

Re: [GUIDE] Raspbian Lite with RPD/LXDE/XFCE/MATE/i3/Openbox/X11 GUI

Very useful guide, thanks a lot! Moving to Ururguay soon, so I had to get Mate desktop up and running on my RasPi 3B ;) One little thing: the default Raspian desktop has a nifty little applet to display CPU temp in the taskbar panel. Any chance to get that in Mate or other desktops as well? Other se...
