What I ultimately want to have happen is I want to press a button connected to the GPIO which would be a combination of keyboard keys pressed. That "Hotkey" would run a script. Maybe there is a simpler way of having this happen, I don't know.

how to keybind a script

I would like to launch a script (example "name.sh") by a hotkey . something like Ctrl+Alt+T but having the terminal auto run the script.

Thanks for the post I use it to start a program in terminal when when I power up the PI. I have a question though. Is it possible to enter two commands back to back? I need to change the current directory a folder before running my program. The program creates file in the wrong directory if I don't...

What are the Hotkeys for switching screens? Ctrl+Alt +Left or Right does not work.
