Re: Bringing the Raspberry Pi to PSTN or mobile telecom communication world with Asterisk

I ordered a PiTDM from switchpi in China last month and have been experimenting with it over the last week. They have 3 different SD card images on their website which you can write to an SDCARD with etcher. A) RasPBX with the driver pre installed so it has the freepbx gui with asterisk. B) the Digi...

Re: LIVE555 - RTSP server

While I'm waiting for my Camera Module to arrive, I tried the testRaspi code by using a H.264 video file (instead of the camera) with the 'cat' command. cat testvideo.264 | ./testRaspi I noticed that if 2 people try and watch the video via RTSP at the same time, there is picture corruption. The live...

USB Missile Launcher Project

Hi I've got my old USB Missile Launcher (from Marks and Spenser) is working on my Pi. (and added it to the elinux verified peripherals list) I used a couple of C programs from Source Forge http://sf.net/projects/usbmissile and https://sourceforge.net/projects/usbmissileqt/ . These work from userland...

Re: Firmware not working since Jul 1 commit

My my TFT screen, the old Debian6 image was great and the new Raspbian image was fuzzy. I had to add hdmi_boost=7 to get a clear picture pack.

Re: Setting up HDMI output

Hi Dom Accoring to my handscribbled notes, the Debian6 image and Hexxeh's Raspbian image both booted into 1280x1024. But the Debian Wheezy beta and the brand new Raspbia Pisces R3 boots into 640x480 resolution. So something has changed along the way. I'll write out another Debian6 image and fire it ...

Re: Setting up HDMI output

Why can't you just set: hdmi_group=2 hdmi_mode=36 and if necessary: hdmi_ignore_edid=0xa5000080 This should be 1280x1024 @ 75Hz (DMT mode) Thanks for the tip. I've been using these settings for some time now to get the correct resolution. My question was really asking why the boot process select 64...

Re: Setting up HDMI output

I have a TFT 1280x1024 screen with DVI-D and my Pi is choosing 640x480 for it with the Wheezey beta and Raspbian r3 When I run tvservice I see that CEA has one mode of 640x480 but the DMT has a whole range of modes right up to 1280x1024. Saving the EDID and running edidparse shows me the best score ...
