Thanks to all! The program I used in Thonny is in Python2. Some learning to do!
I don't find such a thing as "Helpful" "Problem solved", 👍, otherwise I would have applied them.

Where is Python IDLE (Solved)

I am an absolute beginner. Haven't used my 3B for over a year and due to unforeseen circumstances (something with C) I have plenty of time. I dug up my 3B and started with a complete install of the OS with something called Raspberry Pi Imager. Works fine, however I cannot find Python and Python Idle...

My python book for (absolute) beginners doesn't give an answer. What does the sentence # -*- coding: utf-8 -*- do? # is supposed to start a non-executable comment? What does -*- do/mean? This sentence is supposed to load german letters? How can it do that, if it is a comment? Must be a stupid questi...

Austria != Germany

Why does the latest Raspbian only offer Austrian-German as language and not German? Or should it be interpreted as Austrian and German? Would be funny.
