Re: Alarm voltage detection

This is where my current lack of understanding comes in. I wasn't sure if it was safe to connect the ground from the Pi with the ground from the alarm given I was seeing a fluctuating voltage. I thought it would be safe but I wasn't 100% sure. I like the idea of the optocoupler simply because it giv...

Alarm voltage detection

Hello, I am right at the beginning of learning electronics and definitely at the beginning of connecting circuits to a Pi. Here's what I'm trying to work out. I have an alarm circuit running at 9v with it's own ground. When the alarm is triggered an led lights up. I've taken pin outs from this led s...

Hello, I followed this example but using no-ip as the DDNS service. I cannot seem to get a stream and I think it is because my IP camera streams using RTSP. Any idea how this is configured in NGINX, please? Unfortunately the examples I've Googled are either not complete examples or they confuse me e...

NGINX IP Camera Https Rtsp and the rest

Hello, I'm really new to this so please bear with me. I have a Wansview IP camera and a Swann DVR kit. These are http cameras which I'd like to secure in order to expose them to the web. My setup is complicated by the fact I use Androids IP Camera View to view the cameras. Problems is I always get a...
