I plugged the SSD into my pi4, saw nothing in the logs, finally noticed that the /boot partition was full. The SSD was a clone from an old image from 2016, so /boot was only ...

That's great if know how to manipulate all those commands,
That's the point of playing with a rpi.

Still, some people might prefer a shiny new Mac that just works ;-)

SSD success story

In times of cheap SSDs it's good that the Raspberry can boot from USB. My Raspi has been running fine now for three weeks 7/24 an WD Green PC SSD WDS2 40G2G0A-00JH30 attached by an SATA USB3 Adapter with one USB cable (https://www.amazon.de/dp/B06XCV1W97) The Raspi first would not boot and display o...

Re: Bridge to Android Phone's Internet Connection

Wow, this is difficult.

Especially, as I tried it out with a Windows laptop, and could create a bridge with some mouse clicks.

Bridge to Android Phone's Internet Connection

Hi, I have an old Fritz Box 3370 that I'd like to use as internet router. It only can connect via DSL or IP, not via Wlan or LTE. So I'd like to have connection via Raspi and an old Android phone (with broken screen ;-), so I need USB for the mouse, no USB tethering). raspiRouter.png Which tutorial ...
