Re: Disabling repeated start in the i2c-bcm2835 driver

Indeed, it's still quite possible to load the old driver. Just add this line to /boot/config.txt and restart:

Code: Select all

dtoverlay=i2c-bcm2708

Disabling repeated start in the i2c-bcm2835 driver

Previously, the i2c-bcm2708 driver was used by default before moving to the newer i2c-bcm2835 driver. From what I can tell, this change was made in the 4.8/4.9 kernel line. I'm finding that the module is still being loaded but I'm no longer seeing the PPS source be created. Here's my output from dmesg: [ 10.493492] pps_core: LinuxPPS API ver. 1 registered [ 10.495...

Re: Minidlna on Raspberry Pi

Just solved this one! In addition to setting the presentation URL to the IP of my pi and port 8200, I commented out serial, model_name, and model_number. Restarted minidlna and I can see it on my Xbox 360 now! Here's my minidlna.conf for reference: media_dir=/media/mediadrive db_dir=/var/lib/minidln...
