Re: Backlight Control on Waveshare 5" Touchscreen

Hi there Wondering if you got any further with this? I recently bought a 5" touchscreen with a hardware backlight switch... https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9Jjnxwtx3O4X2FxN2ZMU3owOGM/view?usp=sharing I'd love to be able to toggle on/off by script, eventually based around light sensor readings. Che...

NoIr camera, iR illumination, temp sensor, mic, RTSP stream?

Hi everyone I've got a D-Link DCS-932L nightvision IP cam used as a babymonitor which I'd like to replace with something that's a little more customisable. The nightvision works well (4 iR LEDs glowing a dim red) but my problem with it is that the MJPEG stream is really unreliable when using a stand...

Re: Pi-Noir IR light recommendations

I'm hoping to do exactly the same thing to replace a D-Link DCS-932L which we've been using as a baby monitor for about a year. This D-Link works well but having to use a nasty browser plugin (ActiveX or Java) is annoying, and connecting to the MJPEG stream directly with VLC or something is extremel...

Energy monitor, plugin not clamp

Hi everyone I'd quite like to use a Raspberry Pi to monitor energy usage of plugged in devices but all of the projects I've seen use the clamp style monitors that clamp over the wire. The problem is that I would like to move the device around quite alot and can't guarantee that the wire of the devic...

Re: Aluminium case, Barch Designs?

I've not ordered a Pi yet but this case does look really good and puts it into play for various embedded projects I can think of.

One thing I would like to see is a case that extends over the SD card/slot to keep that internal and protected from accidental tampering.

Aluminium case, Barch Designs?

Hi everyone Just wondering if anyone's tried out one of these alu cases? http://www.raspberry-pi-case.com http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Barch-Designs They look pretty good and I like the idea of a sturdy metal case. I've not even ordered a RaspberryPi yet but I will at some point. They look great for bui...

Re: Will the raspberry pi run eurosport player

Just registered to add that I've never managed to get Eurosport Player to work with Moonlight, even on a Core i5 machine. So I don't think it would ever happen on the Pi. I've already complained to Eurosport about this and that they should look at alternative streaming software but I can't see anyth...
