I think you can add a line like local_root=/home/pi which will change the default logon directory to the home directory for the pi user I just add...

Power down, swap the mouse and keyboard over in the RPi's USB sockets, power up again. What is working and what is not? Was the hub a powered hub? Mouse doesn't work on my pi?

It worked before but then I tried a usb hub, the keyboard worked but the mouse didn't so I took it out and put the mouse and keyboard back into each port. I then booted it and it says on the screen that it couldn't emulate device on port 1 but it recognised the keyboard. How can I fix it?
