Re: After edit file over ssh the file is empty. All data lost :(

Hello B.Goode,

the SD Cards on my Raspberrys are all good and had no problems. If I make a SSH Connection over LXTerminal I can edit every file and save the changes with no Problem. Only If I edit the files with SSH Connection over FileManger(PCmanFM and Leafpad) the file has 0 Byte after edit.

Re: Failed to mount NFS Partition at boot

My /etc/fstab:

Code: Select all

deflu:/media/DataB/Data /media/DataNFS nfs4 rw,nosuid 0 0
deflu:/media/DataB/NFSFreigabe	/home/tux/NFSFreigabe nfs4 rw,nosuid 0 0

Have saved your automount line. It can be also good for me. :)

Re: Failed to mount NFS Partition at boot

Hello donbrew,

thx for you answer :)

Think it is not the problem because it is a Network File System here the blkid command shows only the local partitions. And on my NFS-Server the partions are all right mounted.

In my opinion it is something with the network.

If yes then copy the message here in the forum, thats the best what you can do first ;) You muss look for the python version is it an old python2 script or in python3? If you execute an python3 programm you musst execute with: python3 yourscript.py

Re: Firefox 58 on Raspbian Jessie?

Firefox 58 on Raspbian Jessie? That's a really interesting question. I think the newest Firefox >56 is a relly new build and not similar to the old Firefox. The RAM consumption should be much lower, this is an important point, because we have only 1GB in the RPi 3. Hope new FF will come soon to us 8-)

Re: Video Player with GUI

Very nice :-)

omxplayerGUI works perfect for my mpeg4 Videos. Thank you for the fast help. In my opinion the program should be in the standard repos from Raspbian OS. That would be an improvement for beginners.

best regards
