Hi, You could either try and log in as the user using the 'system' command in php , or shell_exec if you prefer. An listen for the response to see if its a valid password, if not then fail. The other option is to look at the /etc/shadow file , and match the hash in there against the given password.

Hi , I am running a copy of Wordpress with Lighttpd and sqlite as the database and am not experiencing any lockups.
