My very first computer is a Asus 14inch, I spent most of my university life with it, it ran very cool and powerful. I'm still using it now just in case my Macbook gets problem :)).

The -o option worked fine from the command line, however, I am using OMXPLAYER from within Python 3.x via the OMXPLAYER WRAPPER. Looking at the Python OMXPlayer wrapper api it looks like you can easily pass any needed arguments to omxplayer e.g. OMXPlayer('path.mp4', args=['-o', 'both']) :mrgreen: ...

you may be able to format it in a phone or car dvr,
but it's probably come the the end of life and you need a new one
agree, you need a new one for this situation.

Yeah - Wheezy is a bit long in the tooth. I no longer run it even on x86 platforms. Perhaps there have been improvements to the driver since then, or to the power saving code. Some other people have reported the same problem as you, and have indicated that the "fix" didn't work for them. ...
