Re: RPi 4 wifi problems - Expired IPv4LL
I used an external wifi card and that seems to work. Either the FLIRC case is blocking the wifi signal even on a good signal (2.4ghz) or the wifi is bust.

Sadly not, is there somewhere I can view logs of sorts to see any problems? dmesg doesn't give anything.

RPi 4 wifi problems - Expired IPv4LL
Hi all, I installed Raspbian on a hard drive yesterday using PINN. /boot is on SD, OS is on hard drive. I had tried connecting to the 5G band in PINN to install Raspbian but was unsuccessful. I decided to use the 2Ghz band but was getting painfully slow speeds of 8 Mbits/sec max. After Raspbian inst...

Re: How to setup Minecraft 1.12.2 + Optifine + Forge On a Raspberry Pi 2B, 3B, 3B+ (Untested on Pi 4B)
Hello. Now that i'm on a RPi 4 with 4GB RAM everything works very good. I used RpiMike tutorial for the first part of the tutorial. Thanks! Do you have any idea about running minecraft custom clients (that are placed in versions, not mods) like Wolfram Thanks :) Hi Tim, sorry I have never done anyt...

Hmm.. it seems I did not have the latest of version of gentoo. I saw that some other people had the same problems on the Pi 4 before you updated it. I am testing it our right now and hopefully all goes well.

Re: Updated 64-bit Gentoo Image for RPi3 Released (now also for RPi3B+ and RPi4B)
Hi! I recently installed gentoo but have had some internet problems. The funny thing is I can connect to my router but can't ping the router or ping the pi. The router says it is connected but when trying out some web browsing on the pi or pinging google.com it doesn't seem to work. I know it is not...

Re: Minecraft 1.14.4 on Raspbian Buster and RPi4
How did the opengl driver work? All I get is lines on the minecraft window. Zero issues. All three of my boys are playing Minecraft 1.14.4. One is playing full screen, the other two are windowed. The only issue I've run into is it crashing, like I mentioned, occasionally due to lack of memory. It's...

Re: How to setup Minecraft 1.14.4 on Pi4 (Gentoo 64bit)
sudo raspi-config And in raspi-config, go to Advanced Options . Chose GL Driver , and change Enable . And chose GL(Full KMS) . reboot I am using raspi3... The Raspberry Pi 4 does not have that option. I have played minecraft previously on a 3B and 3B+ and they both had full KMS. I don't think there...

Re: How to setup Minecraft 1.14.4 on Pi4 (Gentoo 64bit)
Hmm.... I had issues with Gentoo so I decided to use the 64 bit terminal in Raspbian. I ran into an issue. I got minecraft working (with optifine in raspbian) but was only getting 2 fps. I instantly knew I had forgotten to enable the open GL driver, but after a reboot and a minecraft restart, the mi...

Re: Upgrading gives dpkg errors.
Looks like file system damage. Can you put the card in a USB reader, then boot the Pi from another card and run fsck on the old card? Couldn't do that since fsck didn't detect the card. I tried erasing the card and then reflashing. Reflashing with etcher failed. I tried another SD card (erasing) bu...

Keep in mind with later versions, the more resources it uses. More blocks, animals etc.Ultimate_Cactus wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 8:34 amWill there be an updated version of this for later versions of Minecraft (eg 1.15)?

Re: Pi keeps falling over and I don't know why
good idea, I just had a thought, could this issue be caused by aggressive 'dynamic' channel switching on my Virgin router? That is somewhat possible but that would also mean that your other devices would be disconnecting as well. I know on the superhub 3 it comes with the same name for both frequen...

Technical Update:
Website was down for 4 days without my knowledge, I got it back up and running. Had a kernel panic on every boot. Didn't want to waste time so I just reflashed Raspbian.
