Hi,
i think the problem will be to decode mpeg2, and all sd channel are in mpeg2 at least on my dreambox.
I could not be able to use tuxbox on xbmc with the raspberry (xbmc restart when you try to browse channel list), but there is an addon to stream channel from dreambox to xbmc.

I finally solved the problem. the module r8712.ko is a staging modules, it can be found in /lib/modules/3.1.9+/kernel/drivers/staging/rtl8712/r8712u.ko i did insmod /lib/modules/3.1.9+/kernel/drivers/staging/rtl8712/r8712u.ko the module was loaded (till a reboot). Ndiswrapper will not work with raspberry cause his architecture. Ndiswrapper is made for x86 driver and raspberry has arm architecture.
I'm trying to find a solution, but at present none seems to solve the problem.

How do you update? I download the image, unsquashfs the file System and replace files, but i only had a black screen.

Do other CPU intensive applications (e.g. OpenArena) run stable? Yes OpenaArena run stable, i've only a problem with the player customization (i have a black screen) but in 30 minutes it never crash. After OpenArena installation no more crash in my OpenElec.... why? I really don't know, but it seem...

Hi,
Anyone has random system freeze when using OpenELEC?
I've no problem running Debian, but when i'm using OpenELEC system freeze and i need to unplug power supply. This occurs at any time, even while navigating through menus.
Any ideas to fix this?
