Re: Web interfacing with CGI script /C++

This very well written tutorial on doing CGI with C++ tells you everything you need to know: https://www.tutorialspoint.com/cplusplus/cpp_web_programming.htm Or perhaps this: http://www.yolinux.com/TUTORIALS/LinuxTutorialC++CGI.html If you google around for "web programming C++" and such like you w...

Re: Web interfacing with CGI script /C++

This problem solved, your program will run in an endless loop and the browser will wait for a response. Maybe you get a timeout error after a few minutes. I removed forever loop so when button click, led would flash only one time #include <iostream> using namspace std; #include <wiringPi.h> int mai...

Re: Raspberry with C++ program

However, if you are serious about learning programming in C++ do not start with I/O hardware interfacing. Also using "commands" is not C++ programming. Find IDE of some substance and "write " simple "hello word" in C++. If your really want to "blink LED" - there are many copies of "GPIO" "library" ...

Re: Raspberry with C++ program

I just want to know how do we program with c++ language. Well if you are certain you need the power of C++ (and can cope with its hideous complexity), then its easy as there is a C++ compiler included in Raspbian. Raspbian is the official OS for the Pi. The most commonly used languages are Python o...

Re: Raspberry with C++ program

Just for interest, why do you need C++ for that instead of C? I think there is big difference in C and C++ language. C is structural language where as C++ is object oriented language. I have read the forum post. Most of people suggest to learn c++ for Raspberry Pi. Just for my interest I want to wr...

Re: Headless windows 10 iot core installation problem

Win10IoT runs a rudimentary website on port 80. I don't know how much control it gives you as I've never looked. DVI monitors and a HDMI to DVI cables are not expensive. You may find a usable monitor at a thrift shop or on Freecycle. A HDMi to VGA Cable will NOT work, you need a convertor like: htt...
