Thank you Casey, that must be the problem, as the keyboard still allows me to exit the rom.Casey wrote: Try a different game, I found Super Mario Allstars was one of the games that didn't work for me. I could get it to go into the title screen and open the game but then couldn't move in the game.

Re: Emulation Station Problem
By the way, I have heard that InputManager.cpp controlls the mapping, but I cant make anything out of it.
Im have no experiance of coding, so if you could tell me how to fix it, and maybe suggest some mappings you find useful?

Emulation Station Problem
I used the RetroPie-Setup program to install EmulationStation, but whenever i enter a game (Super Mario All Stars in my case) i cannot do anything, apart from close the rom. Is there a default keyboard mapping for the SNES, and if not, how can I control the games? Thanks for any help.

Joysticks for Elite
Hi, I've read the post about Elite and how to run it on the Pi, and I'm gonna try it when i get a new SD card. What I'd like to know is how to play it with a joystick, and any joysticks you think are good.
Thanks in advance.

Re: OpenELEC 4 Debian
Hi, i tried doing this on Raspbian. It did the first line okay, but when I typed in the second line it said it had trouble processing the file. I then tried the 3rd line, just to see if that would help, but nothing happened.
I'm a newbie to this sort of thing.

Thanks, KenT, it worked.KenT wrote:python is installed as is pygame
to install geany do sudo apt-get install geany
Probably best to do this first
sudo apt-get update
then
sudo apt-get upgrade
to make sure everything is up to date.

How do I get these programs, especially Geany?

Image shown on screen is too large.
The image shown on the screen is too large for the screen to display. The ends of the image are cropped off. Anyone know how to fix it?
