Re: Tutorial: Garry's Mod (TTT) Server / Half-Life2 Source Engine with SteamCMD on Raspberry Pi3

What exactly is the problem? Maybe I can help you if you tell me what you did. Have you read the instructions in the first post? ----- I guess I took the Linux SteamCMD from this page but I'm not sure anymore. https://danielgibbs.co.uk/2014/02/steamcmd/ Linux 1. Create a user for SteamCMD and login....

Record from USB Camera to file

Hello, I've found an old USB-Camera and I'd like to use it with the RPi3. Windows (Camera App) and Raspbian (VLC) can detect and use the camera. Unfortunately I can't find the right settings in Raspbian to record a video-file. It only shows the first still. Or do you know other, more optimized progr...

VPN not working

Hello guys, I can't use my vpn on my RaspberryPi3. Latest fresh (!) raspbian, updates, upgrades and rpi-updates are installed. RPI is connected over ethernet. Webbrowser chromium is working good and is also connected to the internet. So I installed openvpn and network-manager-openvpn. My vpn-host is...

SD-Card-Overclock

Hello, I followed these instructions ( https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=144493 ) to overclock my sd-card. It is a: Samsung EVO Plus Micro SDXC 64GB 100MB/s Class 10 U3 https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/5186u6rwViL.jpg So I set in /boot/config.txt --> "dtparam=sd...

Re: Ethernet slower than internal wifi?

It is a new RPi 3. My internet connection sometimes is not consistently because it is a combination of DSL (max 4-5mbps) and LTE (5-30mbps) so that I mostly have got 25mbps but nevertheless it is conspicuous that the RPi is much slower in direct comparison. (Raspbian-Browser is capable of using www....

Re: Ethernet slower than internal wifi?

Ok I guess it was some kind of performance problem. So I installed Raspbian and overclocked the cpu to 1420MHz which seems stable after I had a freeze at 1450MHz. Now my download-speed reaches up to 25Mbits over wifi and ethernet. http://fs1.directupload.net/images/171021/temp/mhyezplh.jpg By the wa...

Re: Ethernet slower than internal wifi?

I am surprised too. At the raspberry I used the command/program "speedtest-cli". My computer uses http://www.speedtest.net . I connected it to my smartphone hotspot and instantly got 30mbps over 4G/LTE.... Maybe I try another ethernet cable but I dont think that this is the reason. :| USB-devices: 1...

Hello, I did some speedtests with speedtest-cli and I got these results. http://fs5.directupload.net/images/171019/baso49p7.jpg I also did these test some time later and they still said that my internal wifi is faster then my 300Mbps-wifi-usb-adapter and internal ethernet. Raspi3 headless SSH/Ethernet problem

Dear community, I try to use my RasPi3 headless with plugged in ethernet cable and wifi deactivated. The OS is the latest Ubuntu MATE 16. Unfortunately in 80% I cannot connect to it over SSH. (I always wait long enough - at least 2 minutes.) Sometimes (not often) it works instantly. But then when I ...

Don't know what your problem is, other than you want to use it in monitor mode, but the 8812au driver works fine on all my Pi ever since I started using it, B1, B+, 2B, 3B, 0, 0W. Thank you for your reply. My problem is that I can't get into monitor mode. Is it possible or not? Could you please tes...
