RPi.gpio v0.2.0 & python2.7 - error when terminating code

I have tried RPI.gpio v0.2.0 and python 2.7 over a Debian wheezy image and I was able to successfully simulate the MagPi 2's mybutton sample. Then I created a simple code and ran it without problem. But, whenever I am terminating the code (CTRL-C), this error appears: ^CTraceback (most recent call l...

Ok. Just downloaded the image for Debian Wheezy. I'll try my RPi to boot from it this weekend.
Thanks.

Re: Simple SMS Gateway

Hi, kghunt / ax206geek. Appreciate your inputs. Thank you!
I'll check an available Huawei USB modem, and download/install gammu as well.
Cheers!

Simple SMS Gateway

Perhaps, RPi can also be a good and simple gateway for Short Message Services (SMS).

Coupled with Apache, MySQL, & PHP, it can already be a powerful application.
The question now is the USB GSM modem that must be supported by RPi.

Any comment?

Re: IP Telephony, any idea how?

Biggest hurdle to overcome is that the RPI has no audio in. You have basically two choices: Add a USB soundcard, but that means you also have to add a powered hub. or patch together a I2S serial sound interface from signals that are available at different points on the R-PI board (I2S isn't officia...

Re: WARN:hc_xfer_timeout

Same here. I just loaded a Fedora Remix image to my Kingston 4GB SDHC and similar error messages keep on prompting.

I will just focus with my Debian Squeeze for now (seems to be more stable for me).

Keep posting for developments.

Cheers!

IP Telephony, any idea how?

one project i have in mind is to utilize an RPi as a IP telephony set device equipped with a microphone and headset (that is, connected to a VoIP server, or Skype)

any suggestion which distro could be a good choice (capable) for this, and of course application?
