Re: WiFi Instability Pi 3B+

I am running out of ideas. I had it running for 3.5 days without trouble and I thought I've narrowed down the issue. I was away from home for a that time and so not much was going on in the Wi-Fi. So I created a dedicated 5 GHz Wi-Fi solely used by the Pi 3 B+. In my head I mad up possible causes li...

Re: WiFi Instability Pi 3B+

I'm running out of ideas. I tried all official Raspbian releases since release of the Pi 3 B+ plain vanilla and with sudo apt dist-upgrade . I tried the latest firmware via: wget http://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian/pool/main/f/firmware-nonfree/firmware-brcm80211_20190114-1+rpt4_all.deb sudo dpkg -...

Re: WiFi Instability Pi 3B+

So far every Buster release is affected. I'm going back in time even further. UPDATE: I went all the way back to Stretch 2018-03-13 and it also exposes this issue. As I used exactly this Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ with a Stretch release for almost a year without issues, it must be the firmware upgrade ...

I thought that I might have installed or configured something wrong. But even on a freshly burned Image the issue pops up after just 12 hours. I try the suggested...

Re: CH340

While this is true for the Raspberry Pi itself, it still does not work on the official DEBIAN STRETCH WITH RASPBERRY PI DESKTOP when run on an ordinary PC.

Re: Reading an image using OMX.broadcom.image_read

I recently started to mess around with OpenMAX and got stuck with the same problem. There are code samples out there that encode or decode images in memory using OpenMAX but so far no-one uses image_read. Did you have any success, yet?
