Connect to your Raspberry PI with just one click!

Hi! I made a small script to connect to your Raspberry PI in SSH in one click. Even if you don't know the IP address. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwTjk2Y96zs You don't have to install anything, and it is portable. https://github.com/maditnerd/rasputty Be sure to subscribe to my youtube channel!,...

Re: What was your first computer?

I had an apple II/c http://www.digibarn.com/collections/systems/appleIIc-proto/DSC07225.JPG As far as i know, it is still working (despite the abuse of me as a child being piss off by the horrible gameplay of the games on it), i learn to program on basic with this, which was my first language i coul...

Re: GPIO Virtual Wire (Arduino/Rpi)

Hi gnumengor! I updated my code in https://github.com/maditnerd/433wirelessPI I post videos of my results on https://www.youtube.com/user/maditnerd But I haven't made an update on my new code. Not really sure if it's reliable (some feedback on my code would be really helpful) to command an arduino f...

Re: Piwi : 433.92 Mhz Arduino <-> Raspberry PI

Spend the night trying to do the reverse (Send a message from Arduino to Raspberry PI) but it was clear that it will miserably fail.

The raspberry PI is not real-time so the message is not read as I want (Even with a very large margin of error).

Re: GPIO Virtual Wire (Arduino/Rpi)

I worked on the code, and I can now transmit orders to the arduino from an Raspberry Pi. I plugged two leds on digital pin 7/10 on the arduino that are remotely controlled by the raspberry pi when it sends an binary code. I put a lot of 1111111111 between the message so it will not confused it with ...

Re: GPIO Virtual Wire (Arduino/Rpi)

Hi thanks for the replies! I just see the new mag pi release, that just talked about my transmitter and receiver. I have managed to send a message from the Rpi to the arduino with the example on home automation. (Just gibberish 0 and 1 actually feel like reading the matrix.) I modified the code to b...

Re: raspi-config fork

Last update ! I added an installer for WiringPi http://img15.hostingpics.net/thumbs/mini_7391489201.png It installs git-core, copy the source code of wiring pi on the Desktop and build it. After that it shows you a basic scheme of how to plug a led and make a blink test http://img15.hostingpics.net/...

Re: raspi-config fork

I have update my fork. You can install and do some really basic setup of LAMP and samba with a script named raspi-install. I made a video presentation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Rv4ANaTm9g If you want to read about the new release : https://github.com/maditnerd/raspi-config/commit/0c31e5100b12...

GPIO Virtual Wire (Arduino/Rpi)

I'm searching for a easy and cheap way to communicate serial data, wirelessly between an arduino and an Raspberry PI. I found that library that worked like a charm with arduino : Virtualwire And an 434mhz emitter/receiver. http://www.pjrc.com/teensy/td_libs_VirtualWire.html http://snootlab.com/compo...

Shameful Case

Hi everyone! I build a case , I'm not really good at this but it's a beginning. As i am a real newbies in electricity (i know a bit about ESD problems but not much) I wonder if my case would be bad for the raspberry pi or not? I would really appreciate some feedback about this, In advance, thanks! h...
