Re: Snaps of archive.raspberrypi.org?

can i just remove it? is there anything vital in tat "archive"? or should i start creating snaps of it by myself because foundation is to lazy for that?.. I'd wind that attitude in a bit if I were you. Just because we don't do something you want, doesn't mean we are lazy. You actually are too lazy ...

Snaps of archive.raspberrypi.org?

Re: Pi 3 as wiireless client and wireless AP?

I think this is a better solution. Involving udev. No script needed, no reboot needed, no change to rc.local. https://github.com/peebles/rpi3-wifi-station-ap But it does not work for Stretch, does it? Today's installations of Raspbian become unreachable via network as soon as you touch /etc/network...

ok, adding everything into the rc.local feeds my needs. nothing moves into dhcpcd.conf

Hail AUTOEXEC.BAT!

Is there any better way? :(

Re: With all this dhcpc craziness, how do I set 2 IPs?

Ok, I guess adding into the /etc/rc.local is the only way.

Great. Moving interface settings from the related config into two counterintuitive places... And I've wasted like 3 days googling and trying for this...

Still: how do i make it pigable when unplugged? Please.

With all this dhcpc craziness, how do I set 2 IPs?

Taking into account that in the Stretch network interfaces are not configured in the /etc/ network / interfaces anymore, but rather should be configured using configuration file for the bla bla bla (daemon service implementing client for the one of numerous tcp/ip protocols called DHCP), how do I se...

Re: Raspbian Stretch: login cursor jumps to pos0 of line.

i confirm this.
i have not tested, but it looks like additional wifi interfaces (i have 3) make it worse. screen blinks, redraws all the time and makes it almost impossible to use.

Re: Configuring dhcpcd in Raspbian Stretch

I've successfully built the AP on a Pi Zero W with Stretch now. cool! wpa_supplicant.conf needs to have the default contents and in particular no networks defined. not cool... I have 2 wifi interfaces. I use 1st to connect to the Internet and other for an Access Point. Obviously I need network to b...
