Re: What controllers y'all using for Retro gaming?
Luckily, the Rasberry pi work with any controller, only on some specials times you need a driver or daemon that controlls the device. At my point of view, a ps3 or a x360 controller is the best choice, easily you can config them to control games and the system enviorement emulating the keyboard and ...

Re: Emulation on the Pi3: Initial Testing
thak Supermodel requires a pretty highly specced Desktop for acceptable performance as when released in 1996 the Model 3 Board was 'Bleeding Edge' real time 3D Hardware* (with a price to match which led to its relative failure in the Arcades). The Pi3 really isn't going to cut it! As suggested prev...

Background Music on EmlationStarion Menu
Hi! Search games in silence is boring. Today i have some free time and tried to put online music on the menu, stoping it between one and others. I search the easy and customizable way by the shell. Only spend 1 hour on it, but it could be so improved. -First install mplayer: sudo apt-get install mpl...

Re: Dreamcast Emulation on the Pi2? Yes, Really!
Wow! Thanks for the link, that updates works very fine, nice sound and with a bit more of performance the emu will be playable with many more games. To integrate reicast in retropie go to the experimental instalation on retropie_setup.sh and the folow the scripts from http://blog.petrockblock.com/co...

Re: Dreamcast Emulation on the Pi2? Yes, Really!
Is integrated but very experimental, no sound, slow speed, missing some buttons... i tried that ago a month. Is there any new version?
I saw thar with some changes that the sound can be enabled, and near full speed, but i think is not a official source of reicast. Not via retropie.

I cheked that my ps3 don`t pair too due to last firmware (v4.0.x.x i dont remember fine). With the update the pads works, but with less response, slow mouse emulation, no pairing to any new sixaxis... I had to return to an old image but sure that the "guilt" is the new firmware and some bl...

Re: PS3 gaming pad for RetroPi
Hi! Dualshock3 or sixaxis works very well in linux, and raspbian of course. With the usb cable is detected like a normal gamepad. To play via wireless use sixad and a nice bluetooth, like a ps3, you will need the cable to pair them. The main goal of the raspberry pi is the learning under linux, the ...

Yeah! I are agree with you terminator, a model 2 emu would be possible and playable, but... the only emu that i know is made by elsemi (nebula, cps3, etc...) but their emulators are for windows and without source code, if i dont remember wrong. A shame, is not easy like the model3 install. But yes, ...

RPI2 - Sega Arcade Model 3 (Supermodel Emu) Working!!!
Hi! I love Sega Arcade games and kick my joypad with games like Daytona2 or Virtua Striker 2. With the same way like a debian installation I tried to install the awesome SuperModel emulator in the Raspberry 2. The base image was a RetroPie 2.6, nothing more special added before. This are the steps (...

Hi!!! I'm not sure about what is Pi Mame (maybe the imame4all from the PiStore), but take a look at this forum and see The Retropie Project, that includes a very optimized versions of "imame4all" and "final burn". With these and the Roms of the 0.35 version of mame you will have ...
