Re: Minecraft 1.13 on Raspberry Pi 3

I don't see 1.13 working on the pi, simply due to all the new additions, plus LWJGL 3 isn't on the Pi yet. However, once it does come, I see 1.13.1 or future versions potentially working (hopefully 1.13 will be significantly more optimized) 1.13 itself changed a lot about how the game works, especia...

Re: How to setup Minecraft 1.12.1 on Raspberry Pi 3

WHAT HAPPENED TO MY PI?!! I installed Berryboot. Once I loaded your Full KMS driver my PI now boots directly from the Raspbian image, Berryboot is gone! Also, my screen resolution is messed up again and I cant change it since the only choice I have now is: Default monitor prefered resolution. HALP ...

Re: How to setup Minecraft 1.12.1 on Raspberry Pi 3

I finally got it running! It turns out it had something to do with the maximum ram value in the .sh, so i cranked it down from 1024 to 512, and it runs! That's because the RPi 3 only has about 1000 MB of RAM. Dedicating it all to MC is equivalent to wondering why your PC won't boot when you remove ...

Re: How to setup Minecraft 1.8.9 on RaspPi2

I've been looking to get 1.9.4 working, a friend of mine has a 1.9.4 server and can't upgrade for some reason. Despite multiple attempts to modify the run.sh file, I always get an error. Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: Using incremental CMS is deprecated and will likely be removed in a future re...

Re: How to setup Minecraft 1.12.1 on Raspberry Pi 3

Turns out I do have it disabled, although I thought it was enabled. Unfortunately, with it enabled I have a few issues at boot, namely the fact that Berryboot does not play nicely with OpenGL. It'll boot into Raspbian after a short time, which isn't the problem, I just need to disable it if I want t...

Re: How to setup Minecraft 1.12.1 on Raspberry Pi 3

Currently I struggle to get more than 6 FPS in game. Highest I've hit is about 13 FPS. glxgears hits in the high 70 FPS range, and CPU usage averaging at 72-76%. I have Overclocked, CPU frequency is set to 1350 MHz, SDRam frequency at 500 MHz, GPU memory set to 192 MB, frequency at 500 MHz, and the ...
