Sounds like you have damaged your PI's SOC. For example with static electricity or by connecting more than 4 Volt on a GPIO . I would return it to the reseller. It becomes hot because the SOC developed an internal short circuit. Without a heat sink a PI would not normally reach such a high temperat...

Raspberry pi 3 running way too hot

So i got my Raspberry pi 3 thursday this week, is set it up with raspbian with noobs because that was what already was on the sd card i got with the pi, it did set up just fine, but then i turned it off and after a little time i booted it up again, now it had troubles booting, i was getting way too ...
