A LOT of pc fans are 5v or 12v. Depends on how they are wired. Molex connectors (the 4 pin you are familiar with) has a 5v/12v option.

If you are going to run a fan, I suggest sourcing a small chipset fan from a motherboard. Tiny, don't draw much juice, and effective.

Keep an eye on the site for once they are posted. The translucent is cool if you are from the acrylic ATX pc case era such as myself LOL

Case doesn't get hot at all. There are gaps between some of the ports to let air in/out, but the Raspberry Pi's chips aren't really ones you have to worry about cooling wise. I mean, the board doesn't even have heatsinks/fans on it because overheating is simply not an issue.
