Hi have anyone done something like this with Pi, and would it be too complicated for a noob? It might just be Midori. I had similar problems and after I changed to Chromium it was so much smother.

It still lags a bit when installing or downloading, but not even close to how bad it was with Midori. I have skipped all pictures and often java, tho.
