Nice one Ronnie. It worked.
"apt-get update" then "apt-get upgrade" then a hard reboot (pulling the power plug from the pi) fixed it. My usb-dac is now listed and selectable in the squeezelite setup.
Thanks.

Re: New Complete Web-Based SqueezePlug Version Available
Ronnie, I had posted in the slimdevices max2play forum and I think you answered there also. I tried the config.txt change you suggested max_usb_current = 1 and it didn't make any difference. I am going to reinstall the old squeezeplug software as it was working fine until I upgraded to the max2play ...

Re: New Complete Web-Based SqueezePlug Version Available
Finally I got around to changing my older squeezeplug r-pi machine over to the new Max2Play/Squeezeplug. I have it working using the headphone jack on the r-pi but I want to use my USB DAC. It's not appearing in the list of soundcards on the advanced options page. How do I get set the output of the ...

Re: Surveillance camera based on BuildRoot and Motion
Cool. I now have MotionEye running on my ubuntu box. But how do I add the MotionPie camera to it? I selected the Remote MotionEye Camera option and added my url of "http://192.168.1.102:80" with the user "admin" and no password. But it says no camera found. So I have to set anyth...

Re: Surveillance camera based on BuildRoot and Motion
Yes, you're better off using a separate machine with motionEye. Soon motionPie for RPi will have a special feature called "Fast Network Camera" that will make use of the GPU to encode the MJPEG stream. I have got one raspberry pi running MotionPie and its working great. However I cannot s...

Hi, I have been trying to use the RpiCam Web Interface for some time and I had it working ok at first but its stopped so I put my three Rpi Cameras into a box. Until now. Re: New Complete Web-Based SqueezePlug Version Available
Hi, I am thinking of changing my Squeezeplug 7.5 setup with this new software. However I am unclear as to whether it supports USB DACs? You webpage suggests that I might need to purchase a Max2Play premium license? Or is the license just for I2C DACs? My DAC is the Behringer UCA-202 USB DAC. Thanks

@m4rky Not sure if motion can be set up this way, but an universal approach would be, to use incrond: http://inotify.aiken.cz/?section=incron&page=about&lang=en http://inotify.aiken.cz/?section=incron&page=doc&lang=en In general, you can have your images or video folder monitored fo...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface
Can this interface send an email when the camera detects motion??
I want to set a few of these up around the outside of my house and then record when motion detected.
I would like to also receive some notification when this happens say be email or sms.
Would be cool if it could do this.

I successfully setup this interface last night and the preview and controls work well. Gerrelt, Looks like the "sleep" command worked for me. This morning sound came out of the DAC :D I don't understand why the auto-reboot needs to wait but a manual reboot doesn't. When I get chance I will reinstall my PI using Hard Float and see if auto-reboot will work. It may be an issue ...

Re: [Tutorial] Squeezelite up and running on Raspbian Wheezy
Hi, I have setup my r-pi as per your instructions. I am using soft float raspbian rather than hard float though. I am having similar issues with my 512MB RPi: I am trying to run Squeezeplug software with a USB Audio DAC and an EDIMAX EW-7811UN USB wireless network adapter and an Ethernet cable. Sometimes it does not power on correctly (just the power light comes on), other times the wireless adapter will not c...

Re: SqueezePlug Version 6 available
That would be a bit of a pain for me as the squeezeplug is the last device to be changed (I have done 7 other devices).
Plus I have changed the wireless config on the squeezeplug now so reverting back probably won;t work either.
Thanks anyway

I have been using my Squeezeplug wirelessly happily for months but I have recently changed my Wireless router so the SSID and Key have changed. Now I cannot get it to work wirelessly. I have put in a network cable. Then used SSH to access the pi. Ran Setup and gone into the config and changed the wi...
