Re: Download Manager

Pyload has multiple-user support and you can define users as an admin or an user. It is also possible to schedule your downloads at night or assign diffrent speed limits for different times. I am not sure about admin approval and I've never tried that future but you can assign permissions to the use...

I've just got my Pi. I ordered 17 Dec (order number 1010218xxx). It was shipped at 19 Dec and send with DHL Worldwide Express to Turkey. BTW I didn't receive any dispatch e-mail.

Re: Samba Performance

You must convert file system to ext 3 or 4. NTFS is a very big bottleneck.

Re: Samba Performance

I was using NTFS at the beginnig but because of low transfer speeds, which was around 4MB/s at that time, I converted my drive to ext3. So I can say that speed increased a little but still its well below LAN's capacity. I also think it is related with samba, because it uses %80 of cpu.

You can check this topic for a download manager. I've been using it for one month without any problem.

Re: Raspcontrol - A Web Control Centre for the Pi

This was an issue I was thinking about last night, the values are correct but I'm pretty certain they cut off when they hit over 1024MB (needs confirming), but it could also be that you have Restarted your Raspberry Pi, as these values do reset. No I haven't restarted, it has been running for more ...

Re: Raspcontrol - A Web Control Centre for the Pi

Firstly thank you for this great control centre :) But I think Network section doesn't show the true values. I've downloaded a lot of stuf yesterday night which is around 10GB, and the values shown on Raspcontrol page are below; Ethernet | Received: 1095.5 MB · Sent: 1532.86 MB · Total: 2628.36 MB

Re: Download Manager

Thanks for recommendation. I've installed pyLoad and it looks very good. Moreover it also has an Android app to control it :)

Is there any way to start it automatically on reboot?

Download Manager

I am looking for a download manager (like Jdownloader) which can be controlled over web interface or ssh.

Any recommendations?
