Re: What controllers y'all using for Retro gaming?

If you are interested in connecting original controllers like, e.g., SNES, Genesis/Megadrive or even aracade controllers to the Pi, you might be interested in the ControlBlock. It was designed specifically for that use case: https://blog.petrockblock.com/controlblock/

Re: RetroPie Setup - Auto-installer/updater for RetroArch ga

As of the auto-installer I used last week, it doesn't install right on Raspian Wheezy without modification. I had to modify all of the files in '/RetroPie-Setup/scriptmodules' and add '--force-yes' to every 'apt-get install -y' line as MANY packages could not be verified and thus failed to install....

Re: RetroPie Setup - Auto-installer/updater for RetroArch ga

Quick question just to be sure, compiling/installing just Mupen64 via source-based installation in the setup script shouldn't affect my tweaked config files/other emulators? If you select only Mupen 64 RPi in the RetroPie Setup Script, you can find the exact actions of the script at https://github....

Ok, thank-you to both of you. Retroarch-setup did pull the November 17th version of Mupen64plus-Rpi from ric_rpi git repository, then I think I have to pull the November 19th commits and compile it again :) Ridrok Thanks a lot for your detailed post above! I know that the PPSSPP emulator is currently making problems and I do not know a solution to make it compile myself. The other emulators should work. I need to have a look into that this evening.

It's a 256Mb model b, firmware and all is up to date as of this morning. I have a small 100Mb swap file in use. I have it compiling now with a 64/192 split and it seems to have passed the the point where it was crashing. Actually, I had to use a 32/224 split to overcome the "critical point". I assu...

Any on else been having the system lock up when exiting a emulator? Really annoying when I get so far in Super Mario World and then exit and I lose all my progress! This problem is so annoying!
