Re: UNDERWATER PI!!!

" Mineral Oil " to be precise.

Mineral oil is not conductive. It may look like water, but it behaves very differently. Pure mineral oil does not have the free electrons necessary to conduct electricity.

Re: Raspbmc & WD TV Live Hub

I've been streaming from my WDTV 1TB Live Hub to Raspberry Pi XBMC for a few months now.

Works fine :D

(based on: most of my content is 720p and using cabled ethernet)

Re: Bad case design!

I too, have the same case from RS Components.

It's a good case, good and snug fit.

Takes a few 'careful' minutes to put the Pi inside it.

(if you rush and force things... then of course, something will break. This applies to a lot of things in life)

There's no slot or holes for the GPIO pins.

Which i'm fine with, as i use the Rpi as a Media Player...

If you plan on using the GPIO pins then i would recommend looking for a different case.

Re: Element14 Case (Picture)

The Element 14 case is a very snug fit... no board movement at all (I did the shake test and drop test on carpet.. and the board does not come loose)

Also, the case can be vertically mounted via 2 mounting slots underneath the case.
