Re: GigaBrain.io new project update

Hey we released a new cool glass UI for our easy robotic controlling app for Raspberry Pi and Arduino. A major fix is also that now all the controllers can be used at the same time. Now only the premium version has an option to secure the controller interfaces, ask us more about that feature. This v...

Robot movement player and library - like music player for your robot

Hello, today we opened up the gigabrain library for movements. https://www.producthunt.com/posts/gigabrain It's an app inside Raspberry Pi that sends PWM signals to servo and actuator controllers. So it's like a movement player for your robot. You can record and design movements for your robot using...

Re: An affordable robotic cat runs like Boston Dynamic Dogs?

It's dangerous for powering multiple servos directly on Pi. I power the Arduino, RasPi and PCA9685 separately through voltage regulators, all drawing current from the same battery though. I have done long term testing with 2 servos and it works beautifully. That's because the servos are not under a...

Re: WiringPi/Pi4J without sudo in Spring Boot

There still seems to be issue using the PWM write functions without sudo.

https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/1983

https://github.com/Pi4J/pi4j/issues/352

Looks like there is a new RaspberryPi kernel version coming that has the PWM usage without sudo.

WiringPi/Pi4J without sudo in Spring Boot

Hi, there's a Beta version http://gigabrain.io/twoplayer.html of a two player game that runs with Spring Boot and Pi4J. To get the GPIO write access the boot app will have to be run with GPIO write rights. Currently the install script launches the java app with sudo command, and the app checks right...
