auto bootdown when gpio 5v gets 0v

i want to use raspberry pi as a carpc.

now i convert the car battery from 12v to 5v.

i want to use 1 constant 5v to power the raspi, and 1 switched 5v.(when key is in ignition) to make it know it has power.

is there a way then when the switched 5v. goes down an bootdown command is executed?
