Bluetooth is scanning now. Must have been an update and and a reboot or something. Also the rogue process has not come back so all is well with my zero! :geek:

Well I figured out the power cable input runaway process thing. I just did a sudo kill 9 on the process and it killed it. I was hesitant to kill anything like that but all is well in the world now. I imagine I will have to do it after any reboot. I figured I would post it since no one seemed to have...

have you tried upadating bluez?
sudo apt-get update bluez

reboot

should restart the service but if not try
sudo systemctl restart bluetooth.service

then run bluetoothctl:

[bluetooth]# agent on
Agent registered
[bluetooth]# default-agent
Default agent request successful
[bluetooth]# scan on

Power cable running up my CPU? Also bluetooth not found

I apologize if this has been asked before, however I made quite an effort to solve this and cannot. I have a Pi zero W that is running a lighttpd web server and it is also connected to an ardunio for occasional communication. I had a bit of trouble getting the two to talk, however they talk fine now...
