Creating Backups

So I've finally got my Pi set-up and working as a Mumble server. Is there a way I can create an image of what is on the SD so I can have a working back up to reinstall from if needed?

Thanks :)

Memory split?

Could someone please explain to me what memory split is. When I'm going through tutorials they normally mention to change it but I'm never sure why. What difference does it make and is it better to have it high or low?

Re: Battery Power/Pack

If you get a battery pack that's too big will it break the Pi? I've been looking at mobile phone chargers and am not sure what size I should get.

like the old BBC Computers :)
Yes similar to this but smaller, preferably the same size as the Pi.

Re: Has this been created?

I guess the reviews said it was a good keyboard, but the trackpad wasn't precise, but it's only for 20$. However there is also a logitech version whihc i think will be far better. but I think that would set you back 37$ or so. I think you're talking about this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-K400...

Re: Has this been created?

I was looking at similar items to this but all the ones under £30 (~$47) had lots of bad reviews saying the track pad was horrible. I'll try this when I get my Raspberry Pi.

Also for anyone in the UK.

Re: Has this been created?

One use I thought of is if you want it mounted on the wall connected to a TV, that's not touch screen, with the keyboard and mouse being on the PI it would be convenient. I thought that if I was going to be taking it around places it would be easier to connect it to a TV/Monitor and then not have to...

Has this been created?

This is my first post so I hope it's in the right place. Is their a case that has a keyboard built in to it? All I'm talking about is a basic case with a qwerty keyboard in the top. It could be a case like this. With a keyboard such as the one on a blackberry. Would I be right in thinking this would...
