With everything disconnected from the GPIO header, power the Pi with 5V and check the 3V3 pin on the GPIO header. If the red LED is on but you do not see close to 3V3 you have a dead Pi, the PMIC has likely failed.
I get 5v from the 5v gpio but i get 0v from the 3.3v gpio

Re: Pi 3 B+ stopped working

I think the power input is damaged, is there another way to power the pi to check if I'm right? Cuz I tried a flashing NOOBS on my sd card and then tried from USB and from microSD and nothing.

Pi 3 B+ stopped working

I was using my pi for octoprint, worked so far until I tried to fit it into a custom pi case and now it doesn't work. I did have to squeeze it into the case but I can't see anything damaged on the pi. I tried several microsd cards and nothing. The power led is on but not the activity light. How can ...

Re: Best way to GET/POST data into raspberry pi from hosted MySQL

So i guess some sort of an mqtt event listener. I'll have to look into that. Another issue, since the page with all the info resides in the server side, is there a way to create some sort of a token so that only the user with rfid scanned can view that page? Maybe lock it to that Pi ip or mac. Not s...

Re: Best way to GET/POST data into raspberry pi from hosted MySQL

I just realized that most of the code should reside on server side. The only thing the pi has to do is send the scanned RFID tag to the server. 1) I need a script in the backend to read the rfid scanned and send it to the hosted MySQL on the server. 2) based on what's scanned the server side updates...

Get post meaning sending receiving data from a hosted db into my raspberry pi. So are you saying there is a better/simpler way to do so then using node.js?

Re: Best way to GET/POST data into raspberry pi from hosted MySQL

well the idea is to login the person via RFID connected to the raspberry pi. So this requires to retrieve the RFID and compare it to the hosted MySQL db. Once connected the person will see its data. I want the pi to get out of sleep mode and show the data once RFID is scanned. I haven't coded in yea...

Best way to GET/POST data into raspberry pi from hosted MySQL

I am trying to create an app residing on my raspberry pi that will get/post data to and from a MySQL db located on a hosted server. What is the safest and best way to do so? I am using an RFID connected via USB to my pi to know who wants to view the data. Can I use visual basic to code something lik...

Re: Dual Screen touchscreen calibration

Ok fixed it, so in: Option "TransformationMatrix" " 0.5 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1" the 0.5 splits the X axis and only uses 1/2 of it which is basically the total of both screens length divided by two which is what I needed. However it picks wtv screen is at the leftmost. In my case my touch was at the rightmo...
