Re: WiFi speeds

You need to tell us a little more about your network and how each device is connected. 3B+ should max at about 270 Mb/s. More than enough to handle your full 75Mb/s connection.

**Onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth do not work on the Raspberry Pi 3B+.

Re: Windows 10 IoT Core on Raspberry Pi 3 A+ does not boot?

I dont think the memory is the issue. It is was it would still boot past the rainbow screen, then fail later on or at least check memory and throw error. I also got a rainbow screen when booting IOT from a 3B+. Same card boots fine on a 3B. I will try a 3A+ later this week once it ships. by the way ...

Re: Cron jobs randomly failing

install a mail service, postfix for example. Cron will write issues to mail. this could help you troubleshoot

You could use mutt to read the emails

sudo apt-get install postfix, mutt

there is a realvnc viewer for mac. https://www.realvnc.com/en/connect/down ... wer/macos/

not sure if realvnc viewer would work with tightvnc server.

uninstall tightvnc then enable realvnc in raspi-config

Re: Headless operation, need to remote in

ssh uses port 22
vnc display1 one uses 5901

You are creating a tunnel via ssh so you need ssh enabled via raspi-config
