Re: Ethernet/USB WIFI interaction solved by using USB m/f le

Ok, having the wifi directly into the Pi, and the keyboard/touchpad into a hub which goes to the pi make it work with the Atrix dock. No idea, hope it's fixed by a future firmware.

Re: Ethernet/USB WIFI interaction solved by using USB m/f le

I seem to be having similar issues. My keyboard is an Atrix dock, with the 5v lead cut going from the keyboard to the Pi. Keyboard in, WiFi no work, keyboard out, wifi works fine. Having the keyboard out make the Atrix dock only be an HDMI display, which is not great.

The difference is the "latest". Can the first post of this thread be edited/so it causes less confusion?

Try nano from the Raspberry Pi, but if you want to read/edit the file in Windows try Notepad++, it understands Unix line returns.

Re: Automatic setup for RTL8188CUS based wifi adapters

My eyes are going out looking through the trhead. The old script for plain jane Debian squeeze 404s, is there an updated one that will work, and if so what is the URL?

Thanks.

Re: Automatic setup for RTL8188CUS based wifi adapters

Thanks for this script. I made this adapter work for me:

though it did not automatically connect, I installed wicd and had no problems connecting with it. Thanks.

Re: Component came off PCB

Exact same thing happened to me, but the leads are now to short for me to solder back on. Guess as long as my 5v is clean, I'm ok.

Re: E-paper display with HDMI for Rpi?

Sadly, for what I've seen there is not much out the for the hobbyist in the e-ink real. Sparkfun had a kent display, but it seems to have been retired. I'll look at this Hackaday search and see if you can repurpose something: http://hackaday.com/tag/e-ink/ I'll follow this thread as I too am interes...

Re: Tests wanted: Tor, Freenet & I2P

I can confirm I2P works, but you need to teak what Java you use:

Hopefully it will be faster as time goes by, memory seems to be the big bottle neck.
