Re: Twython + Scrollphat = HELP!

print '{}: {}'.format(data['user']['screen_name'], data['text'])

Figured out this actually gives the output I want - user : tweet. Still trying to figure out how to strip http links from the tweets and merge the scrollphat code though.

Twython + Scrollphat = HELP!

Hi folks, I'm new to python, and have very limited programming experience, mostly from 20 years ago at school and college. I have recently got a pi zero and have this piece of twitter code running on it via python... from twython import TwythonStreamer #auth keys here class MyStreamer(TwythonStreame...

Re: HOWTO: Use Android Tablet as a screen / keyboard

I'm trying to do this just now but the usb tethering tick box in my android settings keep connecting and disconnecting so I can't tick the box.

Anyone had a similar issue?

Scroll Phat - how to get it working?

Hi folks, Soldered the male header to my pi zero and then the phat directly on top, with a wifi dongle sandwiched between that I soldered directly to the test points on the back of the zero. I SSH into it, open terminal and run curl -sSL get.pimoroni.com/scrollphat | bash as advised here - https://g...

Wifi details before install

Is there a way I can enter my wifi details to a fresh install of raspbian using noobs without having to do it on the pi itself? I vaguely remember osmc having the option during install to type them in. Basically my issue is I have zero and have soldered a wifi dongle to the test points on the back, ...

Re: Automatic setup for RTL8188CUS based wifi adapters

run the script prior to running the 'startx' command. In other words after logging in Ah, I can't do that as after I have installed a linux distribution to my SD card, my win 7 laptop thinks the card needs formatted and shows no writeable area, anyway around it? TBH I'm really trying to get this - ...

Re: Automatic setup for RTL8188CUS based wifi adapters

Trying to run this script on the debian build on the downloads page but it just flashes between something about illegal operation and invalid response and locks up winSCP.

Any ideas why?

Re: MATE for Raspbian

Hi guys,

Just installed this image and logged in. I thought it would boot straight to a GUI as I am a complete linux noob and finding even the basic commands difficult to remember.

What do I type in at the [email protected]:~# prompt to get a GUI on screen?
