Re: Mise a jour Raspberry PI type B

Re: netconsole

I confirm that netconsole still cannot be used on Jessie distro for the already known eth0 interface not supporting polling and aborting when the service is started. Thus I successffuly followed your procedure on a Raspberry Pi with Raspbian Jessie distro. I just had to apt-get install xinetd and te...

Re: Record USB audio input

Good news for amateur radio Raspberry Pi users ! After creating a new system with August 16 raspbian image on my second RPi and updating (upgrading) the system, I found that hamradio mkiss, ax25 and rose were already compiled into the kernel. This is great for this means that there is no need to bui...

/tmp partition full ! (too small)

Hi, When installing source application programs and compiling them I observed a failure for the /tmp partition was full. I had to delete /tmp/ content a number of times. Finally I decided to unmount -l /tmp partition and in turn created a /tmp file. To my opinion 20Mb is toot small for developping o...

HamRadio AX.25 packet on RaspBerry

I succeeded the compilation of a dedicated Raspbian 3.1.9+ kernel with packet radio modules (6pack, kiss, Rose, NetRom). I followed instructions given in Debian paragraph of http://elinux.org/RPi_Kernel_Compilation I then installed a ROSE node switch FPAC on my RPi. Node will soon be available throu...

Re: login with AZERTY french keyboard

To be complete, editing /etc/default/keyboard needs the supervisor rights.
Thus you need to use sudo :

sudo nona /etc/default/keyboard

login with AZERTY french keyboard

Hi, Debian image comes with QWERTY keyboard installed by default. This gave me some trouble for logging the first time I booted my Raspberry Pi. Logging with name pi is no problem. However, entering default password 'raspberry' with AZERTY french keyboard was no use. Then I realized that I had to pr...
