Re: Raspbmc is freezing :\

Like I initially said, I tried two wireless keyboards which are known to be compatible. Then I tried a Dell wired usb keyboard and same thing happened. Earlier, I took my SD card and put a Raspbian “wheezy” image on it, then I started the gui and worked with it for a while. No issues whatsoever. I t...

Re: Keyboard/Mouse not responding for Raspbmc and OpenELEC

Sorry for bumping. I'm having the same issue. First few minutes I can use my keyboard.. all nice and dandy, then it suddenly stops responding. I tried a Dell usb keyboard which I believe is fully supported and two wireless keyboards that are known to be supported according to the Wiki. My psu was bo...

I tried 2 wireless keyboards, both reported to work perfectly in the Wiki.

Tried connecting my wired dell usb keyboard and it still locks up after a short while.

Raspbmc is freezing :\

I got the Pi today so I put in my pre-prepped Kingston S4/16GB with some fresh Raspbmc on it and try it. Well it works! However, I'm getting intermittent locks up. I checked my peripherals and Wiki reports they should all work perfectly, both SD card & the wireless keyboards (Logitech Mk250 & Rii wi...

I straight away with a Raspbmc SD card and it works. However, I'm experiencing problems. The Pi just locks up. Tried my wifi Rii keyboard and it works...slightly navigating the menus and it's locking. :\ Tried my wireless logitech and it also locks up after a while... hmm I'm using a good psu as far...

Finally! My Pi has arrived !

I was patiently waiting for the tracking number email from RS when suddenly it landed at my door this rmoning via DHL. I have no clue if it's rev 2.0 or not. I was first thinking the new rev must have a blue audio jack but I've seen on ebay a rev 2.0 with a black jack. Anyways, I think it's rev 1 or...

Re: Automatic setup for RTL8188CUS based wifi adapters

Ahh great I just came to the forum to open a similar thread regarding RTL8188. I noticed how DX is actually pricey on these wifi dongles! Same wifi dongle costs 5$ on ebay (free shipping) while @ DX it's nearly 10$. However, before I buy one or two I went to check out the wifi dongles Wiki fo...

Yeah, I think it would be great if we could sum this up and try finding the ultimate card for the Raspberry Pi.

Re: What's the max speed for the SD slot?

Those links were great, thanks! Ok, I think I'm gonna go with a Sandisk Ultra 30MB/s Class 6. Seems to have good all around performance. Thing is, I can't seem to obtain a Class 6 version of this card from any of the nearby stores. Those only have the Class 10 version so I'm not sure which should I ...

In my invoice it says "CASE-BLK".

If you got access to the store you should clearly see it under accessories.

Re: Best Pi Case - Opinions/Recommendations?

Not sure you guys seen this but RS is now selling cases for invited customers. They made something quite nice! Better than any I've seen elsewhere on the web, that includes ebay. I made my order for a Pi few days ago and picked a black case to go with it. You basically have one case in 3 available c...

Anyone tested a Sandisk Ultra 16GB 30MB/s Class 10 ? I've seen only Class 6 benchmarks and although it seems to be good, I can't find a Class 6 in any of the local stores as they seem to carry only the Class 10 version. I just need to know before I throw my money on it, it's a 25$ card. I did ...

Sorry for bumping but I have a question regarding this keyboard. So the guy here, made it work but still is it better to just get the 2...

Re: What's the max speed for the SD slot?

I don't want to use a usb flash drive, they're too bulky. I want to make a minimal Pi setup. I have been thinking of acquiring one of the micro USB flash drives like this one to keep size down. Anyone know how they perform in the Pi? holy, that's really a small flash drive. I guess I meant for some...

Re: What's the max speed for the SD slot?

The controller should be able to go faster in theory (with UHS-I cards), but the electrical specifications of the Pi are not compatible to UHS-I - 3.3V signaling only. So it won't get any faster than about 22 MB/s in practice. As dom already said, it's much more important that the SD card is reason...
