Re: Photobooth project

Great stuff! Excited to give this a try. Now to find a French-speaking friend...! :D This French Friend may help you. It's machine translation so not as good as simply reading the original (which makes perfect sense to me). https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=...

Yowza! This is very very cool, and still so impossible for me - I'm still a beginner. But love getting inspiration from things like this.
Some day...
Hope it's all going swimmingly! :)

In a printed book it's helpful to find a given phrase, but with an ebook one simply uses the reader's search function - faster, more accurate, and no flipping pages back and forth. I always want an index for my books, especially for guide boo...

No worries there, it's not exposed to the internet! Phew - I do not want the entire internet community to hate me!

Re: Any celebrities promoting raspberry pi?

Dunno about celebrities, but the Amazon show Mr Robot features Raspberry Pi's heavily, along with Amazon Echo's. Very accurate depiction of hacking and computing, the hero's OS uses the KDE Gui. Steve Mr Robot definitely makes the Raspberry Pi look very cool! If I can remember correctly, it's conne...

This is exactly what I love about Raspberry Pi - the accessibility of it all. Rather thank focussing on exclusivity, like most are doing, focus on accessibility. :D

Re: Send mail through a local network

Heya, I use a mail server with my raspberry pi and had a similar problem - students forgetting their logins very frequently. I set up a mail server without any password and so far things have been running pretty smoothly! Touch wood. :D

Eben Upton - The Story of Raspberry Pi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCt6d0SCxO4 Eben Upton, founder of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, talks about the Raspberry Pi, how it came to be and the ups and downs of bringing his £25 computer to market. This was very interesting, thanks @fruitoftheloom! :D
